Description:

The superior sagittal sinus is the large dural venous sinus that courses from that crista galli of the ethmoid bone in the anterior cranium, along the top of the skull, to the confluence of the sinuses on the occipital bone. It runs margin of the falx cerebri. It drains to the transverse sinuses in the folds of the tentorium cerebelli.
