Description:

The right gastro-omental (gastroepiploic) artery is a branch of the gastroduodenal artery. It arises behind the duodenum and anterior to the pancreas. It courses along the greater curvature of the stomach in the edge of greater omentum. It supplies numerous branches to the stomach and terminates by forming a collateral circuit with the left gastro-omental artery.
