Description:

The inferior phrenic arteries can arise from a variety of positions. Typically, they arise from the aorta just superior to the celiac trunk. However, they may arise from renal arteries, adrenal arteries, or from the celiac artery. They ascend onto the abdominal surface of the diaphragm and supply the muscle.
