Description:
The testis is the organ of sperm production in the male. In this section of the testis and its associated ducts, note the small, highly coiled seminiferous tubes that occupy the testis. Specialized cells in the walls of these small tubes undergo meiotic cell divisions to produce the male gametes, the sperm. Leading from the testis are the epididymis and vas deferens that carry the sperm on their journey from the male body. Using your mouse, select a reproductive related structure to learn more about it. Once the structure is selected you can go to the related images to see more views of the selected structure.
