This section of simple cuboidal epithelium is from the intralobular duct of the pancreas. Note the simple cuboidal lining of the duct. The epithelial linings of many glands in the body are of simple cuboidal epithelium. Simple cuboidal epithelium is also present in the tubules of the kidney and in the small bronchiole tubes of the lung.
