Description:

This foramen sits on the anterolateral (cheek) surface of the zygomatic bone just inferior to the orbital margin. It transmits the zygomaticofacial vessels and nerve. Sometimes it is doubled, one foramen transmitting the vessels, the other foramen the nerve.
