Origin:
Medial epicondyle of humerus via the common flexor tendon (humeral head); medial side of the olecranon and the proximal half of the posterior ulnar shaft (ulnar head)

Insertion:
Pisiform bone, hamate bone, anterior base of 5th metacarpal, and the flexor retinaculum

Actions:
Flexes the wrist

Nerve supply:
Ulnar nerve

Blood supply:
Branches of the ulnar artery
